Just happen to see this cafe on our road trip. We agreed to try coz we're hungry. We just to grab something to eat. This cafe is located in Ludlow of course. Not far from Amboy crater and Amboy ghost town.
My youngest son ordered a grilled cheese while me and my husband ordered hotdog with chips. The ambiance was okay with a music in the background.
Earlier, when we came in it was so quiet and only 3 customers. They just now turned up the volume of their music. The waitress was friendly and she is the only one attending to the customers. Overall, it's a good place. -

If you want to experience an old, run down cafe in the middle of the desert, I would recommend eating here. The waitress is friendly and the food was great. I had a patty melt with grilled onions.
For many years this establishment was closed. I'm glad it is now up and running! A little updating might be nice but overall I would return.
Downside: no free refills on soda so get a water on the side! -

First stop on our road trip to Texas! It's a basic cafe and the pancakes and waffles were ok. My husband and I had coffee, it was probably the worst cup of coffee we've ever had! The prices are a little high for what it was, a little understandable because this is the only place besides Dairy Queen. The waitress and staff were very friendly, so that made up for it.

I happened to enjoy this very quaint and cozy cafe.. Paying homage to the country scene, it is decorated with horse shoes, farming tools and other country memorabilia. On our way to Nevada, we stopped to put gas and get a bite to eat--boy am I glad my husband suggested this cafe. The hospitality is good as it gets, you seat yourself wherever you'd like and breakfast is served all day. Definitely a treat, and I would love to be back when we're out that way again.

Excellent breakfast on Route 66, but Grandma, the waitress, is obviously over this whole waitressing gig. She was never rude to us, but I watched her snap at more than one table when they nicely asked for something that they had ordered and hadn't come out yet. Good food, a little bit higher than most similar restaurants, but maybe only visit if you're non confrontational.
